&lt;div&gt;I wonder what the story is regarding the presence of the RipCurl company name and logo (twice, if &amp;quot;R.I.P Curl&amp;quot; counts) on the dust jacket. As product placement goes this seems a juicy instance for the company in question, despite the possibility that &amp;quot;R.I.P Curl&amp;quot; might be intended as some sort of slur. Apparently there is a feeling in the surfing community that the company did not conduct themselves with grace in connection with a 2006 sponsored surfing championship in Mexico (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rip_Curl).&lt;br /&gt;
